General Updates
Neo released the general monthly report for July, August, and September, which noted the launch of the Neo X EVM sidechain, the announcement of the US $20 million Elevate Grant program, conferences and events Neo attended, the Neo X Grind Hackathon, and new NEO exchange listings.
Neo Global Development hosted an X/Twitter Space event entitled Neo X Small Talk: Uptober Update, which was moderated by Neo Foundation community manager Adela and featured AxLabs founder Guil. Sperb Machado, Neo SPCC engineer and Neo core developer Anna Shaleva, and NGD head of development Steven Liu. Topics of discussion included Neo X updates, on-chain user and developer activity, Neo X consensus nodes and governance plans, upcoming Neo X developments, and more.
NGD launched an online show called On Deck, aimed at highlighting potential projects within the Neo ecosystem. The show invites project teams to present their ideas to a panel of experts and key opinion leaders. Three projects were featured in the first episode: Pixudi, a blockchain-based party board game; MineMatrix, a trustless mining protocol utilizing zkWASM; and Assisterr, a startup focusing on community-owned small language models to explore niche use cases.
Encode Club shared a thread about the top 3 winning teams from the recent Neo X Grind hackathon. First place, NeoFlex, is a liquid staking solution for the Neo EVM sidechain. Second place, Onchain Buddy, is an AI-powered WhatsApp bot designed to help users understand their on-chain activity. And third place, SmartBasket, is a Solidity-based system that enables users to create and manage token portfolios.
HashWar released a guide to help users connect their Neo X-enabled MetaMask wallets to the game, use an invite code to join, and navigate the initial UI to begin playing the game.
Carrot Swap migrated its incentive system from Neo X TestNet to MainNet. The program encourages early adopters by allowing them to complete various missions and accumulate points that can later be redeemed for rewards. Participants can earn points by completing tasks like connecting their X/Twitter account, following Carrot Swap’s official X/Twitter page, joining the Discord community, and referring friends. In addition to social actions, users can earn points by providing liquidity on the platform.
NeoDashboard announced a reward campaign to celebrate the integration of Neo X into the HashWar NFT trading card game. To enter for a chance win from a prize pool of 10,000 NDMEME tokens, users must like and retweet the post, and comment with their Neo X address and HashWar account ID.
Frank Coin hosted a community quiz on the team’s official Telegram channel. The top two participants won 1 GAS, and ten random winners each won 0.5 GAS. The Frank Coin team also hosted a trivia contest on Discord.

COZ released an update to Neon Wallet, which includes new login options, an enhanced Flamingo Finance API integration, Neo X NFT support, and more.
NNT Catch Up
NNT released Episode 75 of The Smart Economy Podcast with Ganesh Swami, CEO and co-founder of Covalent, a company that started as a data analytics provider and has evolved into a comprehensive infrastructure services provider. Topics of discussion include the three facets of AI in blockchain: decentralized training, inference, and data; Covalent’s role in bridging Web2 and Web3 technologies; the evolution of blockchain data needs from 2017 to the present; the development and importance of the Ethereum Wayback Machine; and much more.
