COZ has unveiled native cross-chain swap functionality in the Neon Wallet, enhancing the user experience by enabling in-wallet token swaps across blockchain protocols. The new feature is powered by SimpleSwap, a platform that has been operating since 2018 and provides access to over 1,000 cryptocurrency and fiat currencies.

Cross-chain swaps

Neon Wallet users can now execute cross-chain swaps and monitor the entire process directly within the wallet interface, eliminating the need to switch between platforms and exchanges. SimpleSwap aggregates various cryptocurrency exchanges to identify the most profitable exchange rates and routes trades accordingly.

The swaps are temporarily custodial, as SimpleSwap holds user funds only during the swapping process to facilitate cross-network exchanges and secure the most favorable rates. However, tokens are debited from and delivered directly to the user’s wallet.

Currently, Neon Wallet supports Neo N3, Neo X, Neo Legacy, and Ethereum networks. Additional support for Base, Binance Smart Chain, Fantom, Optimism, and Polygon is planned for the future.

Account skins

In addition to the swap functionality, COZ has introduced a new skin feature in Neon Wallet. Users can unlock account card skins by holding specific NFTs in their wallet. Currently, users who hold a Naughty or Nice GIFT from Neo or a PUPPET from COZ can access exclusive skins.

Cross-chain swaps are now available on desktop and Android versions of Neon Wallet, with iOS compatibility expected to launch soon.
