COZ distributed more than 750 AeroGlyph cards at the Blockchain.RIO conference, which recently took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. COZ also shared a video interview with the Day One grand prize winner, who took home a Nintendo Switch 2. Finally, NNT shared an overview of what the BlockSpirits activation was like on the ground.
Centre Point #2 was announced for September 27-29, to be held at the Carlton Hotel in Singapore. Centre Point is a community-organized initiative led by members of the Neo Council and broader ecosystem. It’s a grassroots effort to self-organize, share knowledge, and strengthen collaboration across the Neo network. Travel grants of up to US $2,000 are available for eligible community members who need financial assistance to travel to the event.
Neo BD manager, Tony, joined a Twitter Space hosted by AEON entitled Smart Economies, Real-World Payments, and PayFi. Topics of discussion included the evolution of Neo’s mission to real-world payments via AEON, the vision of the Smart Economy, the intersection of AI and Web3, what’s next on Neo’s roadmap, and more. Over 55,000 people tuned into the Space.
Neo announced that the team is co-hosting the Neo Vibe Tokyo 2025 after-party in Chuo City with SpoonOS, OKJapan, and others. The event is scheduled for Aug. 24 at 6:00 p.m.
Flamingo Finance integrated USDC into its DeFi platform, expanding its utility and offering users access to a widely adopted, fiat-pegged stablecoin. The addition enables USDC to be used in swaps, limit orders, staking, cross-chain transfers, and dividend distributions. Circle and Coinbase issue USDC and maintain a 1:1 peg with the US dollar. With over US $30 billion in circulation, USDC is among the most used stablecoins across blockchain ecosystems. Flamingo now supports wrapping and unwrapping USDC between the Binance Smart Chain and Neo N3 networks.
Flamingo Finance noted that Epoch 18 concluded, that the total payout was $4,875.59, and 145,576 FLM were burned.
SpoonOS announced the Co-Tuning Bonus Event in partnership with FLock.io. To participate, users are asked to enter via a Zealy campaign, complete the questionnaire, and join the SpoonOS Discord server. The user input collected from the campaign will be used to train LLMs to adapt to Web3 language, context, and workflows. 1,000 GAS in rewards will be distributed to eligible participants. The event is live and concludes at 2:00 p.m. (UTC) on Aug. 18.
SpoonOS hosted the third installment of the AI Co-Learning Program, titled Foundational Method for Foundation Models for Scientific Machine Learning. The guest was Michael Mahoney, a professor at UC Berkeley and an Amazon Scholar. Participants had the chance to win $200 in GAS and 10 OpenRouter API Keys.
SpoonOS established a strategic cooperation with the following projects:
- Memobase, an open-source, long-term user memory backend designed to enhance AI applications. Examples include chatbots, virtual companions, educational tools, and customer service assistants. Through the collaboration, the two entities seek to add profile-based long-term memory to AI agents and apps on SpoonOS. The goal is to help developers build agents that can remember user details and provide more personalized interactions.
- AutoStaking, an AI-powered stablecoin yield aggregator. Through the collaboration, the two entities will help personalize DeFi strategies, develop user risk profiles, adapt real-time strategies using on-chain insights, and more.
- Exabits, a decentralized compute infrastructure platform that aims to transform GPU clusters into accessible AI‑ready compute resources and tokenized investment assets. The collaboration will strive to offer reliable, cost-efficient infrastructure for AI agents and applications built on SpoonOS.
nDapp added the ChainGPT application to Neo’s dApp and app discovery platform. ChainGPT is a blockchain-focused AI platform designed to empower users with tools that blend AI and Web3. Additionally, nDapp added the DecentraMind application to the platform. DecentraMind is a Web3 contribution market for builders, assisting projects in building better communities through its ownership model. nDapp also added the Coin Terminal app to the platform. Coin Terminal is a cryptocurrency and token data aggregation platform that provides real-time market insights and offers a token launchpad for new tokens.
Frank Coin hosted a Telegram Game Event, in which the first-place participant won 100 FRANK, and 10 random players received 40 FRANK.
Developer Updates
Neo SPCC shared its bi-monthly update for June and July 2025, which noted changes to NeoFS, the S3 and REST gateways, NeoFS Panel, state sync from NeoFS, and dynamic block times.
Neo SPCC released NeoFS SDK Go RC14, which makes the SDK compatible with NeoFS API 2.18, cleans up some APIs, and fixes several bugs.
