The second edition of the community-led Centre Point meetup has been announced for Sept. 27-29, 2025, at the Carlton Hotel in Singapore, with travel grants available to help eligible community members attend. Organized by members of the Neo Council and the broader ecosystem, the three-day event will bring together builders, contributors, and stakeholders for strategic discussions, technical deep dives, and collaboration-building.
Scheduled just days before Token2049 Singapore on Oct. 1-2, Centre Point #2 aims to capitalize on the global blockchain community’s presence in the city-state. The Singapore edition follows the inaugural event in Dubai, held in May 2025, which fostered new collaborations and strengthened community ties.
Building on the Dubai format, the Singapore meetup will focus on quality conversation, idea exchange, and collaborative problem-solving. Organizers especially encourage Neo Council members to send representatives and emphasize active participation.
A detailed agenda will be released closer to the event date.
Centre Point vision
Centre Point was created as a space for open conversation and community building within the Neo ecosystem. Organizers believe that strong offline relationships lead to more effective online collaboration and, ultimately, a more resilient network. The first meetup in Dubai set the foundation for future gatherings, and the Singapore event aims to build on that momentum with higher attendance and greater community impact.
Attendance is open to active and prospective contributors to the Neo ecosystem. Space is limited and registration with approval is advised before booking travel.
Venue and accommodation
The Carlton Hotel in Singapore will host the meetup, offering attendees a central location near the civic and cultural district. Registered participants can access a discounted room rate at the venue of SGD 265 per night (approximately US $205) using a booking reference provided upon registration approval.
Travel grants
To help ensure broad participation, GrantShares is offering a limited number of travel grants for community members who meet specific eligibility criteria. Successful applicants can receive funding for flights and accommodation up to a maximum of US $2,000.
Eligibility for a travel grant requires members to be active contributors to the Neo ecosystem, and not currently be funded by NGD or hold status as a Neo Council team member. Only one grant will be awarded per team. Applicants must submit a breakdown of expected costs along with their request.
Grant applications are open now, with a submission deadline of Aug. 24, 2025. The travel grant RFP can be found here.
