Neo business development manager Carolyn joined a Zypher Network X Space entitled Building the Future of AI & Web3: Innovation, Growth, and Community in the Next Wave of Decentralization. 

Neo shared images of its footprint on the ground at WebX in Tokyo, which included booth activity and Neo representation on-stage in presentations and panels. The team also shared footage of the Neo Vibe Tokyo afterparty.

SpoonOS hosted the fifth installment of the AI Co-Learning Program, titled Governance LLM + AI agents. The guest was Sabine (Yudi) Nong, a Master of International Policy at Stanford FSI. Participants had the chance to win US $200 in GAS and 10 OpenRouter API Keys.

Flamingo Finance announced that liquidity provider tokens can now be used as collateral within the Lend module of Neo’s premier DeFi platform. The Flamingo team unveiled the update during their first Community Lagoon hosted as an X Space event on Aug. 26. The inaugural LP token approved for collateralization is FLP‑FUSD‑bNEO. Additionally, Flamingo Finance noted that Epoch 21 concluded, that the total payout was $5,788.65, and 54,368 FLM were burned.

GrantShares witnessed various proposals put on-chain from several individuals seeking travel grants to attend Centre Point #2, taking place in Singapore Sept. 27 – 29. The following grants are on-chain and have received a majority of votes in favor: Riley Neo Admin, Robin Green (Cassette), Alvaro Neo collaborator, and Abdulkareem Babatunde. The following proposals are on-chain, but haven’t yet received an endorsement: Pixudi, and Daniel Taiwo – Travel Grant.

War on Bugs released an update that included a new mini-game, NeoFS integration, and other changes. The Whack-a-Bug mini-game is an arcade-style game that invites users to tap bugs to score points, avoid friendly characters, and climb a leaderboard. The NFT character images in the game are now hosted on the NeoFS distributed storage network. Other updates include improved navigation, the addition of mini-games to the carousel on the main page, improvements to the UI, and NFT character attribute displays.

NeoBox has invited developers to showcase their mini-apps on its web-friendly, Dropbox-like platform built on NeoFS. Apps must be browser-ready and packaged in a self-contained build folder; there can be no external dependencies. Submissions should include a zipped build (with an index.html and all required assets), a short description, and optional GitHub/demo links. Apply via the official Google Form.

nDapp released a weekly N3 GAS check-in, noting that network users claimed approximately 91,086 GAS in the past week, and the on-chain activity burned about 1,240 GAS.

Frank Coin hosted a GasBot trivia contest on the FrankCoin channel of the NeoF1 Discord server and distributed 3 GAS in rewards to participants.

Developer Updates

Neo SPCC released NeoGo v0.112.0, which included fixes to state differences on TestNet, requiring database resync for the upgrade, and various other features.

NNT hosted Crypto Coffee & Blockchain Beer Space #70 on the official The Smart Economy Podcast X account. Topics of discussion included Neo X and N3 on-chain activity, GrantShares submissions for Centre Point #2 travel grants and Vaulten, the security audit for the ZK DKG Neo X code, some of the contributors to SpoonOS Developer Call Season 1, the dichotomy between patience in software development and hype in the crypto industry, and a reminder that Neo Legacy deprecates on Oct. 31.
