The Centre Point steering committee has published a preliminary outline for the upcoming three-day gathering scheduled to begin Friday, Sep. 27, in Singapore. Rather than a detailed schedule, the announcement offers a structured overview of the event’s daily themes and objectives, which are aimed at fostering collaboration and shared accountability across the Neo ecosystem.
Anyone attending the event is invited to submit a proposal to lead a discussion. Centre Point’s lead planner, Dean Jeffs, said:
This is not a summit to produce a roadmap or a set of declarations. It is a working session, grounded in the idea that ecosystems grow stronger when people take responsibility together. If we leave Singapore with renewed clarity, stronger bonds, and a shared sense of where to focus next, we will have done something meaningful.
According to organizers, the event will prioritize connection, clarity, and shared responsibility.
Day 1: Creating space for dialogue
The first day will focus on establishing a sense of grounding among participants. It will begin with a welcome and orientation session, followed by attendee-led presentations and discussions. Participants are encouraged to share projects, raise questions, and initiate conversations. Potential presenters are requested to submit requests for leading discussions to the organizers in advance of the event.
Day 1 is designed to elevate underrepresented voices and lesser-known efforts while building a common understanding that will serve as context for subsequent discussions.
Day 2: Exploring the Council’s role
The second day will center on the Neo Council as a governance structure and a collective of teams entrusted with ecosystem stewardship. Discussions will cover current Council dynamics and interactions with stakeholders such as token holders, ecosystem teams, Neo Global Development, and the Neo Foundation, as well as explore how these relationships might be made more effective.
Organizers intend for the day to serve as a space for reflection and strategic alignment. Participants will examine the Council’s responsibilities, its accountability to the ecosystem, and the support mechanisms necessary to improve its functionality.
Day 3: Turning discussion into delivery
The final day will shift focus toward operational planning. Building on the previous day’s discussions, participants will work to define action items around the most urgent and actionable priorities. While the day’s structure will remain open, its purpose is to transform insights into coordinated next steps.
Organizers aim to conclude with clear commitments, designated leads for each area, and a shared understanding of post-event coordination efforts.
In conclusion, while there’s a loose agenda for the structure of Centre Point and the conversations the community seeks to foster, the committee emphasized that Centre Point is not a summit for roadmap creation or public declarations. Instead, it is intended as a collaborative session reinforcing the ecosystem’s capacity to evolve through collective responsibility.
Anyone attending Centre Point #2 is welcome to submit a proposal to lead a discussion to hello@neonewstoday.com.
