SpoonOS has launched Season 1 of its Community Contribution Program, a two-month points-based initiative that rewards members for chatting, completing tasks, contributing code, and sharing AI content. Top participants will receive exclusive community merchandise.

SpoonOS, introduced by Neo Global Development as an operating system for AI agents on blockchain, has previously run developer-focused initiatives including the Developer Call, the Skills Micro Challenge, and the Skill Capture Campaign. The Community Contribution Program broadens that footprint to non-developer participation, counting chat activity and content sharing alongside code contributions.

Participate to earn rewards

Participants accumulate points across four activity categories:

  • Chatting within SpoonOS Discord channels
  • Completing tasks posted by the team
  • Contributing code to SpoonOS projects, and
  • Sharing AI-related technology content

Points accumulate over the two-month season and reset once Season 1 closes.

Rewards are reserved for the Top 10 qualified members who reach level 16 or higher, identified in the program as the “Advocator” tier. The announcement does not disclose the points-per-activity rates, the thresholds that define each level, or the specific items included in the community merchandise package.

Participation is routed through three SpoonOS Discord channels:

  • #task-center: for viewing available tasks
  • #task-submit: for submitting proof of completion, and
  • #level-leaderboard: for checking standing

Next steps

Season 1 runs from April 20 through June 20. According to the announcement, Season 1 is the first in a seasonal structure, though the SpoonOS team has not indicated the cadence of subsequent seasons or how the program may interact with SpoonOS’s existing developer-focused initiatives.
