TOTHEMOON will conduct its first airdrop of item NFTs in the New Moon Phase of Cycle 1 to wallets that hold Character type NFTs. Additionally, the team has released information about the new Characters in the upcoming second phase of NFT minting. The snapshot for the item NFTs will take place at 7:00 p.m. (UTC) on Monday, March 28, 2022, and the airdrop will take place shortly after.

TOTHEMOON is a strategic community-building NFT game built on Neo N3 where collectors engage with the moon-themed metaverse. The TOTHEMOON team aims to establish this metaverse by layering and integrating NFTs in a way that establishes a thriving supply and demand economy. With Character type NFTs, users become eligible for item NFT and NEP-17 TTM token airdrops.

The first airdrop will consist of Item, Food, and Special Food NFTs. The amount of each of the items airdropped depends on the Character type NFT held by the user. TTM Character NFT types will receive the following amount of item NFTs:

  • Cryptonaut: 2 Item NFTs, 2 Food NFTs, 1 Special Food NFT
  • Moon Creature: 2 Item NFTs, 2 Food NFTs, 1 Special Food NFT
  • Moon Trainer: 3 Item NFTs, 4 Food NFTs, 2 Special Food NFTs
  • Moon Baby: 4 Item NFTs, 6 Food NFTs, 3 Special Food NFTs

To be included in the airdrop snapshot, users must delist Character type NFTs put up for auctions or sales on any marketplace where TOTHEMOON NFTs are listed. If Character type NFTs aren’t delisted from a marketplace’s smart contract, then they will not be held in the user’s wallet, which determines eligibility for the airdrop.

New Characters in the Waxing Crescent Phase

TOTHEMOON has also introduced a new set of characters that it will release in the upcoming Waxing Crescent phase of Cycle 1. The Waxing Crescent is the second of eight phases in Cycle 1, where each phase will release new characters, items, tools, infrastructure, vehicles, moon plots, and other game-based NFTs.

In the Waxing Crescent phase, the TOTHEMOON team will release 50 new Cryptonauts, four new Moon Trainers, four new Moon Babies, and the second-generation Moon Creatures. At the beginning of the Waxing Crescent phase, Moon Creature NFT holders will receive a random second-gen Moon Creature for each first-gen creature held.

TOTHEMOON minted the first round of Character type NFTs in Dec. 2021. All Moon Baby and Moon Trainer NFTs sold within the first minute, Cryptonaut NFTs sold within the first six hours, and Moon Creature NFTs also sold out.

At the time of press, there is no definite date for the new Character type NFT mints in the Waxing Crescent phase.
