Carrot Swap, a DEX operating on the Neo X blockchain, has officially migrated its incentive system from TestNet to MainNet. The program encourages early adopters by allowing them to complete various missions and accumulate points that can later be redeemed for rewards.
The incentive structure encourages users to engage both socially and through the DEX itself. Participants can earn points by completing tasks like connecting their X/Twitter account, following Carrot Swap’s official X/Twitter page, joining the Discord community, and referring friends. In addition to social actions, users can also earn points by providing liquidity on the platform.
Users’ progress is tracked via a leaderboard, where missions can be found and participants are ranked according to the total points they have accumulated. Carrot Swap has promised rewards, including an airdrop, to users based on their position and points.
Carrot Swap first deployed to the Neo X TestNet in Oct. 2023 after receiving an AWS award at the NEO APAC Hackathon. The team followed with the MainNet launch in Aug. 2024, complete with full DEX functionality, user-creatable pools, and a cross-chain bridging service. Due to the relatively low liquidity at the time of press, large trades may cause significant slippage. As the user base grows and more liquidity is added, this is likely to improve.
