COZ distributed 431 NEO in Proof of Working 2.10, recognizing five contributions to Neo developer tooling, storage infrastructure, event relay, and wallet analytics. The round continues a pattern that has defined the Proof of Working program since its relaunch: grassroots infrastructure work submitted by community developers, verified on-chain, and compensated in NEO.
Three of the five awarded contributions came from a single developer: CLAUS.
CLAUS’s three contributions
The most prominent contributor in this round, CLAUS, had three separate projects recognized.
The first is an ncast watch workflow added to Nanvil, merl111’s local Neo N3 development environment. Developers working in Nanvil can now monitor contract events in the same environment they use to build and test, without connecting to separate monitoring tools.
The second is neo-n3-python-wallet, a standalone Python library that gives developers reliable account infrastructure for Neo N3 applications. The library supports BIP-39 mnemonic generation and recovery across eight languages, BIP-32 and BIP-44 HD wallet derivation, NEP-2 encrypted private keys, NEP-6 wallet files, address generation, and transaction signing.
The third is NeoFS Python SDK v0.4.0. NeoFS is Neo’s decentralized storage network; CLAUS’s Python SDK gives applications programmatic access to it. Version 0.4.0 adds container attribute management, container locking, attribute-based object search, paginated results, and additional CLI commands for container and search workflows.
Across the three contributions, the common thread is Python. All three extend or add to the Python toolchain available to Neo N3 developers.
Pusharoo event relay
Vault Keeper contributed an event relay service to Pusharoo, an on-chain monitoring tool. The addition lets Pusharoo watch smart contract application logs and forward matching events to external systems via webhooks, which are HTTP callbacks that send data to a destination URL when a specified event occurs. Developers can subscribe to specific contract events and receive real-time notifications at endpoints they define.
The practical effect is that applications can connect on-chain contract activity to off-chain systems (i.e., notifications, backend automation, analytics pipelines, bots) without each team having to build custom event-watching infrastructure.
Wallet Tracker
fireche, who has now been recognized across multiple Proof of Working rounds, contributed a blockchain analytics tool for Neo N3. The Wallet Tracker features an interactive graph interface for tracing token transfers, mapping wallet relationships, and following funds across multiple wallet hops. It displays wallet balances and holdings, labels known wallets including exchanges and bridges, supports live monitoring with alerts, and offers graph-based navigation of transaction history.
What this round adds up to
Since its relaunch, the Proof of Working program has distributed 6,008 NEO to community contributors.
COZ staff members are excluded from weekly rewards, but consistent open-source code contributors are eligible to join COZ.
