Rise In has announced its satellite hackathon for Neo X Grind, targeting developers in India with a US $10,000 prize pool. Rise In is a Web3 coding bootcamp platform that offers intensive learning programs, mentorship, and networking opportunities to budding developers.

Participants in the Rise In satellite event for Neo X Grind will need to apply online and complete onboarding steps, including an assessment form. An idea list has been made available to help inspire participants with app concepts.

After onboarding, participants will be able to attend online workshops for building on Neo X and receive an invitation to the hackathon. Taking place over a 24-hour period, the hackathon will be hosted at Innov8 DLF Cyber Green in Gurugram, India.

Check-in for the event opens at 11:30 a.m. (IST) on Sep. 28, closing an hour later. This will be followed by an opening ceremony at 1:00 p.m. and the hackathon launch 30 minutes later. Mealtimes, mentoring rounds, and a late-night mini event are all scheduled, culminating in the end of the hackathon at 1:00 p.m. on Sep. 29.

The Grind Hackathon is a two-phase event aimed at bringing developers onto Neo’s new EVM-based network. In phase one, third-party event organizers such as Rise In will manage satellite hackathons, each offering its own prizes and support for participants. The second phase will be a global hackathon, open to both new entries and participants from the satellite events, with a focus on onboarding applications into the Elevate program.
