Encode Club has launched its satellite event for phase one of the Neo X Grind Hackathon. Developers have until Oct. 6, 2024, to submit Neo X-based projects for a chance to win prizes.
The Grind Hackathon is a two-phase event aimed at bringing developers onto Neo’s new EVM-based network. In phase one, third-party event organizers will manage satellite hackathons, each offering its own prizes and support for participants. The second phase will be a global hackathon, open to both new entries and participants from the satellite events, with a focus on onboarding applications into the Elevate program.
The first Grind satellite hackathon, hosted by Encode Club, invites developers working in SocialFi, Gaming, Memecoins, DeFi, AI, DePin, and real-world assets. The first-place winner will receive US $3,500, followed by $2,000 for second place and $1,500 for third place. Ten additional participants will receive a consolation prize of $300 alongside an invitation to phase two.
Encode Club has partnered with The Graph and Supra for the event. A series of technical workshops will be available for developers, with the first session being an introduction to building on The Graph, scheduled for 2:30 p.m. (GMT) on Sep. 16.
