On Saturday, July 6th, a free NEO workshop is taking place in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The event will be hosted by NEO community developer group, NeoResearch, and is scheduled to take place from 11:00 am to 5:15 pm. The schedule includes presentations and interactive workshops.

In a conversation with NEO News Today, NeoResearch media manager Thays Oliveira said, “we want participants to understand more about the NEO atmosphere, the interaction between NEO and blockchain, NEO-VM, and to learn how to develop a smart contract.”

The first half of the day will begin with an opening session delivered by Oliveira.

Following, Alex Braz of Blockchain Academy will give a presentation on “Blockchain Pillars.” The Blockchain Academy is purportedly among the largest blockchain communities in Brazil.

Lastly, NeoResearch founders Vitor and Igor Coelho will deliver a presentation on NEO 3.0.

Brunch will be offered courtesy of the event sponsors.


The second half of the NEO event will include three interactive developer workshops.

The first workshop, beginning at 1:00 pm will focus on smart contract development. The instructors for the workshop are Ricardo Prado and Gil Lopes Bueno. Prado and Bueno are developers for SimpliPay, a digital platform that aims to simplify peer-to-peer transactions, and are also members of COZ.

The second workshop, instructed by Vitor Coelho, will focus on interacting with the NEO blockchain.

The final workshop, instructed by Igor Coelho, will focus on developing with the NEO virtual machine.
