Neo is sponsoring the AI x Crypto Hackathon organized by BeWater, a builder community known for its management system for open innovation campaigns. This event encourages exploration at the intersection of blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies.
BeWater hosts a variety of events including hackathons, design contests, and demo days, aiming to connect advanced and traditional industries. The upcoming hackathon invites participants to consider the future possibilities arising from the combination of AI and crypto technologies.
The event features a total prize pool of US $60,000, spread across five categories: AI Stack/Performance, Agents/dApp, Tokenized AI and Incentives, Security and Privacy, and a Bounty track. Neo has contributed an additional $2,000 prize for the Bounty track, with the condition that projects must be deployed on the Neo X TestNet.
The hackathon includes mentorship sessions and workshops running until May 18, with registration having opened on April 24. John Wang, head of Neo Eco Growth, will serve as a judge, and Steven Liu, head of development at NGD, will participate in a future X Space session. Neo also plans to participate in offline workshops to facilitate deeper engagement and learning.
Neo is joining other sponsors of the event, such as Near, Ora, ARweave, OKX Ventures, and BNB Chain, and more.
The hackathon will conclude with an online and in-person demo day on May 30 in Singapore, where participants will present their projects. The registration and submission deadline is set for May 24.
