Nextmate.AI has launched a price prediction campaign, active through 6:00 p.m. (UTC) on Jan. 29. Participants who use GAS on Neo X to vote in particular prediction markets will be eligible to win rewards from a pool currently equivalent to US $10,000 in GAS. The platform recently added support for Neo X and is leveraging the campaign to raise awareness of the integration.

The campaign is geared toward rewarding new users for engaging and exploring Nextmate.AI. The prediction markets that the platform offers on Neo X center around event outcomes, and five-minute or 12-hour market forecasts.

About the Campaign

There are three ways to compete for prizes: social media tasks, voting with the largest amount of GAS, and lottery entries.

To become eligible for social media task rewards, participants must follow both the Neo and Nextmate.AI X/Twitter accounts. Additionally, entrants must like and re-tweet the announcement post, and tag three friends in the comment section. Ten participants selected at random will each receive a $20 equivalent in GAS rewards.

For leaderboard prizes, the top 10 users with the largest amount of GAS spent for voting will be eligible to share from a pool of 375 GAS, currently worth approximately $2,000. GAS is used to “vote” on predicting a market’s outcome (i.e., voting ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on the price of NEO on a particular date in the short-term future). The more GAS used to vote on prediction outcomes, the higher a user ranks on the leaderboard. Rewards will be distributed accordingly:

  • 1st Place: 90 GAS
  • 2nd & 3rd Places: 55 GAS
  • 4th Place: 45 GAS
  • 5th Place: 40 GAS
  • 6th Place: 30 GAS
  • 7th & 8th Places: 20 GAS
  • 9th & 10th Places: 10 GAS

Lastly, the prediction lottery prize coffer is pooled with 666.66 GAS, currently equivalent to $8,000 in GAS rewards, and anyone who uses GAS on the prediction market platform is eligible. For every two GAS used to vote on an outcome, the user will receive one lottery ticket (i.e., 20 GAS used to vote will yield 10 lottery entries). Lottery prizes are in amounts of: 0.06 GAS, 0.6 GAS, 6 GAS, 60 GAS, and 600 GAS.
