Neo and SpoonOS have announced London as the third destination in the ongoing Scoop AI Hackathon series, a global initiative exploring the convergence of blockchain and AI. The London Bowl will take place Dec. 6 – 7 at Encode Hub in Shoreditch, featuring a weekend of development, elimination-style competition, and networking.

Co-hosted with Encode Club, a global developer community known for organizing high-impact Web3 hackathons. The London Bowl will also feature collaboration with ElevenLabs, a leading AI voice technology provider. ElevenLabs will offer all participants access to its AI voice technologies, which can reduce the friction with building voice-enabled AI agents.

The London Bowl will offer hands-on opportunities to build decentralized AI applications, including voice-enabled agents, on the Neo and SpoonOS technology stack.

Registration and Format

Pre-event registration is now open through Dec. 5. The London Bowl will follow a hybrid format with both online coordination and in-person participation at Encode Hub, located at 41 Pitfield St, London N1 6DA.

For this stop, organizers are introducing a Battle Royale-style structure with three progressive checkpoints, eliminating teams that do not meet development milestones:

  • Checkpoint 1: Team formation and project registration – Dec. 5, 6:00 p.m. (GMT)
  • Checkpoint 2: Midway project progress review – Dec. 6, 3:00 p.m.
  • Checkpoint 3: Final project submission – Dec. 7, 12:00 p.m.

Attendees who do not plan on building projects are also encouraged to join, with space available for AI and Web3 enthusiasts to observe demos, attend panels, and connect with builders.

Participation and Tracks

The London Bowl will focus on products aimed at creating AI agents and autonomous applications being built on decentralized infrastructure.

Participants can compete in five challenge tracks, each intended to demonstrate the potential of agentic systems within decentralized environments:

  • AI for Science: Use autonomous agents to accelerate discovery through simulation, analysis, or hypothesis generation
  • AI for DeFi and Payments: Develop intelligent trading bots, payment agents, or financial decision-makers
  • Vibe Coding for Web3: Create visual, playful, or expressive on-chain experiences
  • AI Prediction Market: Build AI-driven forecasting tools and trading simulations
  • AI Agent with Web3: Design agents that read data, make decisions, and act on-chain autonomously

Prize Pool and Partner Benefits

A total of US $10,000 in GAS will be awarded, distributed across primary and excellence awards:

  • 1st place: $2,500 × 1
  • 2nd place: $1,500 × 2
  • 3rd place: $1,000 × 3
  • Excellence Award: $500 × 3

Participants will also receive benefits from ElevenLabs, including:

  • Three months of the Creator tier for all participants
  • Three months of the Pro tier for each member of the overall winning team
  • Six months of the Scale tier for the best project utilizing ElevenLabs technology

Scoop AI Hackathon Series

The London Bowl is the third city stop in the Scoop AI Hackathon, a global initiative running from Oct. 2025 to Jan. 2026. Previously announced events are currently scheduled to take place in Moscow and Hanoi, with additional stops planned in Tokyo, Seoul, Silicon Valley, Hyderabad, and Beijing. The total prize pool for the global series is $100,000.

The hackathon is co-hosted by Neo, an open-source L1 blockchain, and SpoonOS, a Web3 agentic operating system that provides tools for building AI-native decentralized applications.

Developers can review event rules, SDKs, TestNet information, and additional guidelines in the official Scoop AI Hackathon Handbook. Community support and team formation resources are available via the SpoonOS Discord server.
