Alphacat, a Hong Kong-based project offering access to real-time robot price forecasting for cryptocurrencies, has announced a research cooperation with UCLA’s Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science (UCLA Engineering). UCLA Engineering’s Electronic Engineering Laboratory will provide a “Signal Analysis Specialist” to analyze transaction data. The objective will be to shorten calculation times while improving the accuracy of Alphacat’s price forecasts.
Automated Trading Development
UCLA graduate students have been working with Alphacat this year to create Bitcoin trading signals using 12-hour interval data. Alphacat claims that their trading bot was profitable despite facing a 0.6% transaction fee on every trade.
Alphacat founder Dr. Bin Li commented that “The next version of the artifical neural network…will soon be applied to our ACAT store system.”
