On March 23rd, Concierge.io, a travel booking marketplace on the NEO blockchain, launched its alpha platform in the lead up to their CGE token sale on March 31st.
The platform can be accessed at www.concierge.io.
As the product is in alpha, there are a limited number of available properties and platform functions, with new functions on their way. At present, users can only search for properties in Vietnam. When placing a booking, there is a 12 hour cooling off period for extra peace of mind. After the 12 hour cooling off period, bookings are non-refundable.
Features of Concierge.io
Features of Concierge.io’s travel booking marketplace are below:
- Customers can book using CGE tokens, Concierge.io’s native currency.
- Customers can log in with their Facebook or Google account once registered. However, customers must first create an account before logging in with Google or Facebook.
- Payment initiates via smart contracts, in-line with the 12-hour cooling-off period.
- One room bookings are available for each property with instant reservations.
Concierge.io have stated that new functions are on their way. The new features are due for the beta release at the end of Q2 2018, as per Concierge’s roadmap. An update on progress will be provided at the conclusion of the token sale, starting on the 31st of March 9:00am UTC, ending the 28th of April.
Until then, users can report bugs for its alpha platform using this link.
Concierge.io Token Sale Event
The token sale event has a hard cap of 45 million CGE tokens, with 1 CGE equal to USD 0.35. Payment for CGE tokens can be made in NEO tokens only, with a 1 NEO minimum and 250 NEO maximum.
The funds from the token sale will go towards the development of its CGE booking ledger, the core of Concierge.io’s ecosystem. Besides bookings, the CGE booking ledger also supports direct communication between customers and merchants, with 0% commissions taken by Concierge.io. In total, 100 million CGE tokens will be minted, with 65% allocated to the public for token sale events.
