COZ has shipped coordinated updates to its desktop, mobile, and browser extension Neon Wallet clients, introducing Neo X Anti-MEV protection, Solana blockchain support, and a range of onboarding and security improvements. The desktop client shipped as v3.10.0 and the Aero browser extension as v0.9.0.
Neon Wallet is a self-custodial wallet with a multi-wallet architecture that supports Neo N3, Neo X, Ethereum, EVM-compatible networks, and now Solana. It offers native cross-chain token swapping and runs on Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, and major web browsers. COZ has previously released several rounds of updates to the wallet, including the addition of a fiat on-ramp and enhanced migration and smart notifications.
Blockchain upgrades
All three platforms now include Anti-MEV protection for Neo X through the integration of direct Neo X features. MEV, or maximum extractable value, refers to the profit that block producers can capture by reordering, inserting, or censoring transactions within a block, sometimes at the expense of ordinary users. Neo X counters this by combining dBFT consensus with enveloped transactions and threshold decryption, keeping transaction details encrypted until a quorum of validators includes them in a block.
The update also adds Solana support, expanding the list of networks available in Neon Wallet beyond Neo N3, Neo X, Ethereum, and other EVM-compatible chains. Users can now manage Solana assets alongside their existing portfolios within a single interface.
Shared features across all platforms
Beyond the headline additions, the coordinated release delivers a range of onboarding and security changes common to all three wallet clients:
- Users are now required to save their mnemonic phrase (the recovery seed used to restore wallet access) on first use
- A network selection step during onboarding lets users choose which blockchains they want active from the start
- Authentication is now required before executing WalletConnect actions, adding a layer of confirmation to dApp interactions
- In-wallet ticket creation allows users to submit support requests without leaving the application
- Reinforced backup reminders prompt users to secure their assets
- Input validation fixes now explicitly allow special characters
- WalletConnect stability improvements and refined multi-chain support for Neo N3 and Neo X
- A new

Platform-specific updates
The mobile wallet received a refactored send screen, user feedback after sent transactions, display of unclaimed GAS on watch accounts, and performance improvements for faster navigation.
The desktop client added a DevTools shortcut and also now displays unclaimed GAS on watch accounts. The Aero browser extension, still in beta, includes all the features shipped to the other two platforms.
Availability
The desktop wallet is available for Mac, Windows, and Linux. The mobile wallet is available on iOS and Android. The Aero browser extension can be installed on supported web browsers. All three clients are open source with repositories hosted on GitHub.
COZ first launched Neon Wallet 3 with its multi-account, multi-network architecture and later introduced Neo X support as part of the wallet’s expansion to additional networks. The Solana integration marks the first non-EVM chain added to the platform.
