NEO founder Da Hongfei was recently announced as one of eleven ambassadors for Binance’s philanthropic initiative, the Binance Charity Foundation. As an ambassador and notable figure in blockchain, Hongfei is expected to publicly advocate for Binance Charity, whose “Binance for Children” program is active in Uganda.

Hongfei joins ten other notable figures and influencers as Binance Charity Ambassadors. The list includes Bitmain co-founder Jihan Wu, Arrington XRP Capital partner Michael Arrington, Tron founder Justin Sun, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, and KIZUNA founder Mai “Miss Bitcoin” Fujimoto. More ambassadors are planned for addition as the program develops further.
Binance Charity aims to provide “on-chain assistance to needy children” in a “transparent, trustless” manner. Hongfei’s involvement is part of a planned expansion of Binance for Children to support 90,000 Ugandan schoolchildren in 160 schools with meals, school supplies, and necessary personal items to support their education.
