Neo Global Development has accepted the iMe Smart Platform into the N3 Early Adoption Program. The iMe application is a messaging platform powered by the Telegram API, incorporating blockchain-enabled features like wallets and DeFi. The iMe app is available for iOS and Android.
The iMe messenger has a built-in language translator and offers support for “neurobots” – personal chat assistants trained to provide users with quick and relevant replies to questions.
The application also includes a wallet that supports multiple cryptocurrencies on Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain. Users can transfer tokens by sending them to an individual’s Telegram handle or public address.
iMe offers a fiat-to-crypto onramp through Simplex. Users can also trade assets on the iMe platform through the Uniswap DEX, with support for Pancake Swap on Binance Smart Chain underway.
Alex Borutskiy, iMe co-founder and chief business development officer, said, “We love projects that seek to push their boundaries to create a really efficient service, solution, platform, or tool. We believe that there is synergy in thought and vision between iMe and Neo.”
In the announcement, the iMe team noted it was drawn to Neo’s community and seeks to engage and interact with the global audience. Looking forward, iMe plans to involve the community in farming and staking campaigns, contests, and other activities.
N3 Early Adoption Program Details
NGD’s Early Adoption Program has allocated US $10 million in grants for qualified teams and individuals. The goal of the program is to increase overall participation in the Neo ecosystem. NGD hopes that new ecosystem entrants building on Neo N3 can optimize the network through real-world use and testing. Ultimately, NGD believes the program can help establish Neo N3’s infrastructure while simultaneously bolstering awareness.
The NGD team hopes to see a variety of dApp and product ideas, with a particular interest in the following types of projects:
- Infrastructure for the Neo N3 MainNet (i.e., browsers, compilers, middleware)
- Product development based on NeoID, NeoFS, oracles, and other core components of Neo N3
- Application layer uses (i.e., DeFi, NFTs, and general dApps)
- Concepts with business use cases merging physical and digital worlds (i.e., social media, e-commerce projects)
- Regulation-facing use cases (i.e., payment and traditional financial digitization projects)
More information about applying can be found on the Eco Support section of the neo.org website.
