Neo News Today has implemented a range of updates across the nDapp suite and the GasBot service for Discord. The changes, which were deployed between Dec 2024 and Mar 2025, include new features and quality of life improvements.
nDapp
The “My Wallet” page introduced two new features: a GAS claim option and a watch-only mode that allows users to monitor any target wallet.
The GAS claim function enables users to claim GAS directly through the nDapp wallet interface by connecting their wallet via WalletConnect. This update complements existing functionality, including the ability to manage votes, view token balances, and perform swaps (currently unavailable due to Flamingo upgrades).
The watch-only feature allows users to view wallet data in a read-only format. It mirrors the information available when a wallet is connected, including unclaimed GAS, which users may find especially useful.
Additionally, the N3 GAS Calculator now includes a GAS claim feature to enhance the unclaimed GAS display.
A landing page for Gleeder was added to make it easy for users to share access to the service. However, at the time of press, the functionality is disabled due to the Flamingo swap functionality used internally by Gleeder being inaccessible.
In the meantime, users are advised to join the Neo Discord to make a request if they are in need of starting GAS.
Finally, an automated tweet was set up to provide a Neo X network activity report. The integration follows on from the initial Neo X integration into nDapp completed Q3 2024.
GasBot
GasBot integrated two new tokens, B and NDMEME, which are now available for use within all token-related commands.
The trivia functionality was also enhanced with the introduction of a round delay setting, following a community request, plus a new command to clear trivia setup progress by resetting submitted questions and answers.
