Following the success of the Neo APAC Hackathon finale in Hong Kong, Neo has opened its new office at the Cyberport. The move is intended to strengthen the Neo ecosystem by attracting talent and investment from the emerging Web3 hub.

Hong Kong has positioned itself as a key player in the development of Web3 in Asia over the past few years. As part of the deal, Neo will join the Cyberport Incubation Programme, receiving financial aid and key networking opportunities, including potential for collaborations with local enterprises and universities.

Neo will use the location to support local developer talent and connect with existing builders in the sector. Over 200 Web3 projects are currently active within the Cyberport ecosystem, providing Neo an opportunity to expand its presence in the region.

On the opening of the new office, Neo founder Da Hongfei commented:

“I’m thrilled to officially open this new office in Hong Kong, marking a significant step in our continued expansion across Asia and aligning our efforts with the already excellent work being done by the Hong Kong government authorities to solidify Hong Kong as a Web3 hub… We are now delighted to join the Cyberport Incubation Programme in recognition of our own role as a Web3 innovator.”
