Switcheo, a decentralized exchange offering NEO, ETH, and EOS markets directly on the three blockchains, has announced that direct purchases of NEO and Ethereum via credit card are now available. Buyers will receive purchased NEO and ETH directly in their connected Switcheo wallets.
Switcheo, O3 Labs, and Simplex
The purchase feature uses Simplex as a payment processor and was developed in cooperation with Japan’s O3 Labs, whose own Simplex integration was covered by NEO News Today in May, 2019.
Switcheo announced that its feature is intended to “support users who are new to the ecosystem,” as the feature gives them streamlined access to cryptocurrencies and Switcheo Exchange without needing to perform transfers of fiat or cryptocurrencies. However, fees for NEO and ETH purchases through the service at press time exceeded 10 percent.
