TranslateMe, a Mauritius-based translation service provider, has announced its French to English translation model can now translate English to French, paving the way to develop an API. Additionally, TranslateMe has updated its Android Telegram translator application to v5.1.9.

At the end of January 2019, TranslateMe announced its artificial intelligence (AI) model that instantly translates French to English was ready for public testing. After four days of training the model TranslateMe claims is now complete as the platform can now instantly translate English to French and vice versa.

TranslateMe intends to continue accepting translation suggestions from French users to train the AI algorithm. However, users will need to cumulatively meet a minimum 100,000 sentence quota before TranslateMe approves and implements the recommendations. In the announcement, TranslateMe included an example of the sentence-based translations extracted from its AI model.

Further, TranslateMe stated, “everything is in place now for us to complete a Proof of Concept from start to finish.”

Looking forward, the development team intends to focus on developing an API and internally testing it on its website and Telegram translator application.
