Travel booking marketplace Travala has released a site update that contains user interface (UI) improvements, as well as more than 80,000 new bookable properties and 18 newly added countries.
UI Improvements
The changes in the UI are focused on practicality and ease of use. Travala has added features that include search filters for destinations, search filters for properties close to the center of a city, and the ability to search for properties using either the map, or a list of locations. Additionally, Travala has also implemented navigation optimizations to the mobile website.
Geographic Expansion
The Travala project, which formerly focused on Southeast Asia, has more than doubled its bookable properties (to 158,000) and its bookable countries (to 30) in this update. More than 80,000 properties were added.
Newly available countries with over 1,000 available properties include: Russia, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Turkey, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Ireland, Netherlands, and Portugal.
