HashKey Cloud has secured the eleventh position on the Neo Council, with approximately 787,000 NEO used to vote for the candidate at the time of press. HashKey Cloud provides Web3 infrastructure and is a subsidiary of HashKey Group, which includes the first licensed exchange in Hong Kong for retail investors.

The HashKey Group is a suite of professional, stable, secure, and compliant blockchain services catering to international clients. The services within the umbrella include an exchange, brokerage, venture capital, custody solutions, and Web3 infrastructure. The entity launched in 2018 and has additional offices in Singapore and Tokyo.

Currently, HashKey Cloud offers staking services for more than 40 public blockchain networks, decentralized identity solutions, compliant liquidity staking products, and security token offering infrastructure services.

HashKey was also present at the APAC Hackathon grand finale that took place this past October in Hong Kong. Beyond the competition, the event featured several keynotes and panels discussing various aspects of Web3, its growth, and opportunities in the region. Ben El-Baz, head of ecosystems at HashKey, also shared insights on the next era of Hong Kong’s digital asset exchanges in a presentation at the event.

Looking forward, adding HashKey Cloud to the Neo Council is part of an initiative to increase access to other ecosystems and platforms. The announcement said, “HashKey Cloud’s new membership in the Neo Council is expected to further increase diversity to the Neo community and increase cross-platform user engagement for both parties.”
