Blockchain: Innovation Convention Asia will be held at Akasaka Intercity in Tokyo, Japan, on March 17th. This event has been developed in partnership with BIC. BIC has a vision to create a world in which anyone can achieve dreams through blockchain technology by accelerating innovation.

The first presentation of BIC will begin at 2:00pm with a speech by Eoin McKeog, CEO of Second Earth, and will be followed by Kenta Omori, CEO of ShakeHandContract. Malcolm Lerider, the senior research and development manager of NEO, will also give a presentation as a special guest.

NEO is a non-profit community-based blockchain project that utilizes blockchain technology and digital identity to digitize assets, to automate the management of digital assets using smart contracts, and to realize a “smart economy” through a distributed network.

Eoin McKeogh, CEO of Second Earth
Second Earth is an open platform VR space with its own cryptocurrency, which brings together VR and blockchain technologies. Using a virtual reality space, it models success in the real world and solves problems faced there, such as economic problems, physical distance, and social challenges.

Kenta Omori, CEO of ShakeHandContract
Under the vision of creating a cryptocurrency infrastructure that combines blockchain technologies with real business, ShakeHandContract is aimed at fusing cryptocurrency, considered as speculative assets, with real business.
