Neo announced the completion of Hacken’s audit of its zero-knowledge Distributed Key Generation protocol and the launch of the ZK Trust Relay campaign. The DKG protocol underpins Neo X’s anti-MEV solution, which is designed to prevent block producers from reordering transactions for profit.
Neo is co-hosting an afterparty AI Booming Tokyo Alpha Night on Monday, Aug. 25, in Shibuya, Tokyo, in collaboration with OKCoin Japan and Infinity Ventures Crypto.
COZ shared an overview video of the COZ and Neo booths at BlockchainRIO. Additionally, COZ shared stats on the BlockSpirits activation, noting 1,939 battles on day one and 2,975 battles on day two, with 50% of those onboarded having engaged in 10 or more battles.
SpoonOS announced a collaboration with Hubble AI, an AI-driven analytics platform focused on cryptocurrencies and blockchain networks. The platform offers real-time trading data, on-chain activity visualizations, and token movement dashboards.
War on Bugs released a major update introducing NFT functionality and several quality-of-life enhancements to the game’s user interface. Character NFTs can now be minted directly from the inventory screen. Once minted, characters receive randomized stat variations and perks, making each NFT a unique asset.
NeoIgnite teased images of the product’s forthcoming UI, which will allow users to buy and sell an upcoming NIGN token. The project is aimed at offering a digital asset built on the Neo N3 blockchain. Token holders may benefit from features such as automatic GAS generation, integration with DeFi yield opportunities, and a potential for compounding returns. The asset is designed to operate in a self-sustaining manner, providing utility to participants in the Neo ecosystem.
NeoBox opened applications for dApps, mini-apps, and mini-games to request listing on the Dropbox-like platform’s arcade. The team previously stated they’re preparing a fund to support developers in building games for the platform. To submit a project to the NeoBox platform, teams must provide: contact information, application name and description, a demo of the app, a GitHub repository for the app, social media accounts, and associated team members.
Flamingo Finance noted that Epoch 20 concluded, that the total payout was US $4,820.56, and 134,311 FLM were burned.
nDapp released a weekly N3 GAS check-in, which noted that approximately 105,479 GAS were claimed in the past week and about 747 GAS burned.
Frank Coin hosted a GasBot trivia contest on the FrankCoin channel of the NeoF1 Discord server and distributed 3 GAS in rewards to participants.

Topics of discussion included BlockchainRIO experiences at the Neo and COZ booths battling BlockSpirits, the vibrancy of the Web3 community in Brazil, how Heronlancellot’s team found Neo X for their dApp, why MEV-resistance was a key component for their roulette dApp, the necessary resources to support blockchain developers, and much more.

SpoonOS recently completed the first season of its Developer Call program, a six-week initiative that brought together 43 contributors from across the globe. The event concluded with an equivalent of US $5,500 in GAS distributions as rewards for outstanding developer efforts that advanced the open-source ecosystem around SpoonOS and the broader Neo ecosystem.
