Neo concluded its time at WebX Asia 2024 in Tokyo, Japan, where the booth featured a tap-based game BlockSpirits, Neo Global Development Head of Eco Growth John Wang participated in a panel, the team co-hosted the well-attended Neo Vibe Tokyo, and Guil Machado delivered a presentation on Neo X at the OKJ Night WebX afterparty co-hosted by OKJ, Neo, DEP, Mask Network, and Sui.

Coinbase announced that NEO perpetual futures will be listed on its Advanced platform starting Sep. 5. The Advanced platform is oriented toward experienced traders with options like margin trading, APIs and algorithmic trading tools, and more. Perpetual futures are a type of derivative trading product that allows traders to speculate on the future value of an asset without an expiration date. Unlike traditional futures contracts, which have a specific expiry date, perpetual futures can be held indefinitely.

The Graph integrated support for Neo X within its indexing service. Developers can now view Neo X subgraphs on the explorer or use the Studio management dApp to aggregate relevant data for their applications.

Flamingo Finance began the disbursement process for the Lyrebird LRB Fund, established after Flamingo absorbed Lyrebird Finance in June 2022. The fund consists of a diversified basket of NEP-17 tokens, including FUSD, TIPS, SOM, CANDY, and DOGER. LRB holders can participate in the disbursement by sending their LRB tokens to the designated Fund Disbursement address from now until Dec. 31, 2024. Participants will receive their share of the fund in January 2025. After the Dec. 31 deadline, the LRB pool will be removed from Flamingo, and the LRB/USDL trading pair will be deprecated.

Flamingo released a recording of its Community Lagoon from July, where the team covered the development and marketing plans for Neo’s DeFi platform and fielded questions from the community.

Neo X was added to the DeFiLlama data aggregator, the largest Web3 TVL aggregator and statistics platform. The integration offers users greater transparency and accessibility within the rapidly expanding DeFi landscape on Neo X. Within hours of Neo X being integrated into the platform, Asteroneo and Carrot Swap were also added.

Asteroneo released its two-week roadmap, which noted plans for a USDC bridge, the launch of LP point farming, the AsteroLab memecoin launcher, a memecoin rewards program, and the NeoNaut NFT series premiere. Additionally, Asteroneo announced a NeoNaut airdrop campaign for a forthcoming memecoin launch tool and module.

NeoLine added support for the Neo X blockchain to the Chrome browser wallet extension. Users can now bridge between Neo N3 and X, access any EVM network within the settings page, and instantly switch between Neo Legacy, N3, and X.

Carrot Swap integrated support for the NeoLine wallet into its non-custodial exchange.

Neobox released its roadmap, which noted plans for an Arcade Station with new games and applications, a private sale of the NEOBOX token, and the forthcoming launch of the NEP-17 token.

Meme2Earn released a recording of its Community Fireplace for July, which noted general updates on the meme-based platform, recent contests, future plans, the burning of TIPS tokens, and more.

NeoDashboard released a video overview of purchasing an NFT on GhostMarket by using a token other than that requested in the listing, utilizing Carrot Swap on the back-end. The team also shared a video on buying tokens on Asteroneo.

Frank Coin hosted a livestream to reward viewers with NEP-17 tokens and showcase the Neobox roadmap, Neo ecosystem news, and the Pixudi NFT board racing game. Frank Coin hosted this week’s first community quiz on the team’s official Telegram channel, where the top three participants each won 70 FLM, and ten random winners each won 40 FRANK tokens. Frank Coin also hosted a second community quiz this week, where the top three participants each won 80 FRANK, and ten random winners each won 40 FRANK tokens.

Developer Updates

Neo SPCC released v0.11.0 of the NeoFS REST Gateway, which added support for range headers and WalletConnect auth schemes for new objects, made changes to Go requirements for building, and more.

Neo SPCC updated the NeoFS Locode database, which updated Go requirements to build on the database, improved encoding tools, and more.
