General Updates
Neo launched the Message Bridge on MainNet, introducing a new cross-chain communication layer between its EVM-compatible network Neo X and Neo N3. The infrastructure allows applications on either chain to exchange arbitrary data, trigger smart contract execution on the opposite network, and compose functionality across environments.
Neo co-founder Erik Zhang introduced TokenManagement for Neo 4, a new native contract that provides a unified, protocol-level foundation for both fungible tokens and NFTs. By consolidating token logic into shared primitives, such as deterministic asset identity, standardized events, and common accounting, Neo reduces duplicated code while significantly raising baseline security across the ecosystem. The result is intended to be a safer, more composable token code that lets developers focus on building applications rather than re-implementing core infrastructure.
COZ released an overview video of the team’s footprint at CCXP25, a recent pop culture event held in São Paulo, Brazil. COZ partnered with Iron Studios, which utilized non-fungible item certificates for proof of ownership and pre-sale redemption for figurines.
World of Elements released v1.11, which included improved quest progress tracking, Christmas Events, more quests, a new map to explore, and bug and performance fixes.
Neo Dashboard announced that the NDMEME token is now supported by the Neo’s token bridge. Users can now send NDMEME between the Neo X and Neo N3 networks and perform swaps on the Carrot Swap and Flamingo DeFi platforms. Additionally, Neo Dashboard announced that approximately 1,188,784 NDMEME tokens have been burnt since the token launched.
GrantShares witnessed a proposal put forth for discussion, Updated:The Solar DePIN Project: Carbon Smart Meter. Additionally, the proposal Raijin Protocol Grant Proposal Phase 1 (Milestone 1 & 2) was put forth for discussion and then on-chain for vote.
nDapp released a weekly N3 GAS check-in, noting that network users claimed approximately 51,999 GAS in the past week and that on-chain activity burned about 321 GAS.
NNT hosted a GasBot Trivia round where participants had a chance to compete for a pool of 4 GAS rewards.
Frank Coin hosted a GasBot trivia contest on the FrankCoin channel of the NeoF1 Discord server and distributed 3 GAS in rewards to participants.
NNT Catch Up
NNT released Episode 103 of The Smart Economy Podcast featuring Cian Breathnach, a contributor to Keel, an on-chain capital allocator designed to boost liquidity for DeFi and RWAs within the Solana ecosystem. Topics of discussion included why Solana’s speed and monolithic design enable on-chain credit markets; how Keel allocates capital and manages risk while supporting Sky’s USDS growth; why overcollateralized stablecoins are crucial for credit creation; how RWAs fit into Solana’s next phase and why institutional demand is rising; the challenges of tokenization, liquidity bootstrapping, and building in a new VM; and how DeFi projects can reduce systemic risk and protect new institutional participants.
