Neo announced the results of its Neo X Grind Hackathon, awarding US $70,000 in GAS to 17 projects. Five projects received major prizes, each earning $10,000 in GAS:
- DeXFun, a gamified perpetual decentralized exchange that incorporates mini-games and allows users to create markets.
- FluxLayer, an omni-chain intent liquidity layer to address fragmented liquidity across networks.
- Neo Dashboard’s NDMEME, a project that incentivizes on-chain activity through a memecoin and NFT-based boosts.
- Coiny, an AI-powered fraud detection to enhance wallet security and simplifies multisig wallet setup.
- Kinnect Wallet, a socially integrated digital payments solution, offering a global platform for seamless transactions.
Two projects were awarded $5,000 each. Delegator’s Union provides smaller token holders a platform to pool voting power for collective influence. Xora Social combines social media and Web3, allowing users to tokenize personal brands as digital assets. Ten projects were recognized with $1,000 each through the Community Voter’s Choice Awards, which addressed DeFi, cross-chain functionality and token utilities, and gaming and interactive elements.
Neo joined Warpcast, a decentralized social media platform similar to X/Twitter but built on the Farcaster protocol that leverages blockchain to minimize censorship and offer users more ownership over their content. To celebrate the integration, Neo launched the LuckyCast Frames application, which allowed participants to re-cast the message and enter to win from a prize pool of more than $8,000 in GAS rewards.
Neo announced a partnership with Supra Labs, an L1 blockchain known for its high throughput, native oracle services, and flexibility for developers to build composable ecosystems using their preferred programming languages.
Neo Global Development business development and investment manager Raymond participated on a roundtable alongside PumpBTC to discuss Bitcoin cross-chain trends.
Nextmate.AI launched a price prediction campaign, active through 6:00 p.m. (UTC) on Jan. 29. Participants who use GAS on Neo X to vote in particular prediction markets will be eligible to win rewards from a pool currently equivalent to $10,000 in GAS. The platform recently added support for Neo X and is leveraging the campaign to raise awareness of the integration.
Neo Dashboard announced plans to use proceeds from the Neo X Hackathon prize to purchase the NDMEME token, provide liquidity to the NDMEME-GAS LP on Carrot Swap, and park 1,000 GAS into its treasury for future expenses. Neo Dashboard also launched a Telegram community channel.
Neo Red Pill distributed its community memecoin to 66 wallets, which can be traded on the Forthewin Network, a DeFi platform that offers various features across Neo N3, Polygon, Ethereum, Base, and now Neo X, such as the Swap and Farm modules, NFT minting, and Smith, a no-code solution for launching tokens.
TOTHEMOON published Sneak Peeks – Volume 2, offering insights into gameplay elements within The Colonization Game. The article introduces various lunar terrains such as forests, lakes, rivers, craters, and mountains, each providing opportunities for resource gathering and development. It also showcases various types of modular vehicles and weaponry.

COZ integrated support for the Polygon blockchain into the Neon Wallet.
NeoLine integrated support for Neo X into the browser extension wallet, enabling bridging between Neo N3 and X, unlocking EVM networks with custom settings, and instantly switching between Neo Legacy, N3, or X.
