General Updates

Neo issued a scam alert for a suspicious token airdrop labeled “GAS Airdrop Ticket,” which has been distributed to wallets on the Neo blockchain. Neo users who received the airdrop are advised not to interact with the token or any related websites.

Neo X‘s anti-MEV functionality went live on the EVM sidechain TestNet. Activated at block height 2,088,000, the upgrade introduces enveloped transactions and threshold signature support to enhance transaction fairness and network security.

Neo established a partnership with Propchain to enable the addition of real-world assets on Neo X. The PropYield product is a digital representation of Propchain’s real estate assets, and as a result of the relationship, it will be tokenized on X.

Enclave Wallet launched a web-based wallet on Neo N3, introducing the first account abstraction wallet in the Neo ecosystem. The wallet is designed to offer a familiar and intuitive experience without sacrificing the core benefits of blockchain technology. Ultimately, the goal is to make blockchain more accessible to mainstream users.

Flamingo Finance introduced a St. Patrick’s Day-themed OrderBook+ trading competition with a total prize pool of 5,000 FUSD. The maker-only contest began on March 14,  and will continue until 2:00 p.m. (UTC) on April 14. The Top 20 eligible participants will receive FUSD rewards based on their maker trading volume.

GrantShares witnessed two Request For Proposals put forth by teams seeking to become voting members of the community-funding DAO. GS-001: NEOF1 as a new DAO member proposed Boris and SkyHut become a two-member team to join the DAO, and GS-001: NDMEME as a new DAO Member proposed NeoDashboard and SnakeyRob become a two-member team to join the DAO.

nDapp added support for watch-only mode, which makes it possible for users to check their total balance, tokens, unclaimed GAS, and chosen council candidate without connecting an N3 wallet to the app and dApp discovery platform. The nDapp development team intends to add support for NFTs and Neo X addresses next.

NeoDashboard completed an airdrop of its community reward token and memecoin, NDMEME. Tokens were distributed to 508 wallets holding Neoverse NFTs, following a successful funding proposal on GrantShares.

The Smart Economy Podcast host Dylan Grabowski was featured on Babylon’s Bitcoin Renaissance Twitter Space. Topics of discussion included the history of NNT, how Neo has progressed over the years, what’s new with N3 and X, how The Smart Economy Podcast started, and much more.

Frank Coin hosted a GasBot trivia contest on the NeoF1 Discord server and distributed 3 GAS in rewards to participants.

Developer Updates

NeoSPCC released a NeoFS OAuthZ patch, which resolves several minor issues, improves logging, and updates various dependencies to ensure compatibility and security.

NeoSPCC also released Archive.NeoFS v0.03, which included a reset of index fetching blocks, and an update to close modal windows when cancelling in pause mode.
