General Updates

Neo upgraded Neo X MainNet to v0.5.1, including a patch version that introduced several improvements and scheduled upgrades for the network. The release adds support for improved Envelope transaction handling. This version is fully compatible with v0.4.2 and v0.5.0 and does not require node resynchronization.

Neo and SpoonOS announced London as the third destination in the ongoing Scoop AI Hackathon series, a global initiative exploring the convergence of blockchain and AI. The London Bowl will take place Dec. 6 – 7 at Encode Hub in Shoreditch, featuring a weekend of development, elimination-style competition, and networking. The London Bowl will offer hands-on opportunities to build decentralized AI applications, including voice-enabled agents, on the Neo and SpoonOS technology stack.

SpoonOS hosted a Scoop AI Hackathon online workshop entitled Development in Go and Data Storage with NeoFS on the Neo Platform. The workshop was conducted in Russian and hosted by Andrey Butusov and Tural Devrishev, software developers at NeoSPCC.

SpoonOS hosted the ninth installment of the AI Co-Learning Program, titled Towards Graph-Language Systems. The guest was Shengyao Lu, assistant professor at the University of Victoria. Participants had the chance to win US $200 in GAS and 10 OpenRouter API Keys.

World of Elements released v1.10 of the single-player RPG, which introduced several quality-of-life changes, rebalancing features, new content, and performance enhancements. The update continues to build on the game’s integration with the Neo blockchain and FRANK token reward system.

GrantShares witnessed two proposals put forth. First, The Solar DePIN Project: Carbon Smart Meter, is now on-chain and awaiting endorsement. Second, GS-004 (NEO-FairAuction), an RFP for AxLabs’s RFP (Make It Make Sense: Build with MEV Resistance Tech), was put forth for discussion.

Flamingo Finance noted that Epoch 32 concluded with a total payout of $7,391.83. Additionally, Flamingo Finance reported that 275,593 FLM were spent to buy and burn 405,968 FLOCKS. Flamingo Finance also announced that the Binance custodial exchange delisted the FLM token and that the OKX custodial exchange will delist the FLM token on Nov. 19. Finally, Flamingo Finance released an overview article of its Oct. Community Lagoon.

nDapp released a weekly N3 GAS check-in, which noted that network users claimed approximately 96,235 GAS in the past week, and the on-chain activity burned about 1,239 GAS.

Frank Coin hosted a GasBot trivia contest on the FrankCoin channel of the NeoF1 Discord server and distributed 3 GAS in rewards to participants.

Developer Updates

Neo SPCC released dynamic block testing on NeoFS MainNet after several months of using dynamic block time on FS networks. The minimal block time has been halved on MainNet to help reduce latencies for user transactions. The minimal block times of 500ms went live on Nov. 12.

Neo SPCC released Neo Exporter v0.15.1, which fixes a failure to start if any of the specified endpoints are not responding.

Neo SPCC released NeoFS REST Gateway v0.15.0, which removed a set of deprecated v1 APIs and included other updates.

Neo SPCC released NeoFS SDK Go RC16, which is compatible with API 2.20. The most notable change is the addition of erasure coding support, currently in experimental status. Additionally, APIs are a subject of change.
