Neo rolled out Neo X TestNet v0.4.1, which brings in a fully audited version of the zero-knowledge distributed key generation protocol used to power the Anti-MEV system. The Anti-MEV safeguards are designed to stop block producers from being able to extract value from other users by manipulating transaction order. The update also resolves an error that could cause crashes during recovery of DKG messages, fixes version mismatches during resharing, and prevents invalid zero values from being used in Anti-MEV operations.

Neo Global Development ecosystem growth director John Wang joined CoinRank at WebX 2025 to discuss Neo, SpoonOS, and the ecosystem’s presence at one of Japan’s premier Web3 conferences.

SpoonOS hosted the sixth installment of the AI Co-Learning Program, titled Ai4science/Symbolic Regression/ Reinforcement Learning/LLM. The guest was Yuan Tian, a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich. Participants had the chance to win US $200 in GAS and 10 OpenRouter API Keys.

SpoonOS announced a strategic collaboration with Neura, a decentralized emotional AI network led by a team of ex‑Microsoft AI engineers. The platform emphasizes empathy-driven AI, with features like memory retention and emotion recognition.

Flamingo Finance released an overview from its recent AMA, which included the launch of LP collateral in Lend, starting with the bNEO/FUSD pool. The team plans to implement SmartFLOCKS, more LPs, USDC/BSC pairs, cross-chain infrastructure, and a governance shift to FLOCKS-powered voting. Additionally, Flamingo Finance noted that Epoch 22 concluded, that the total payout was $5,415.61, and 59,252 FLM were burned.

GrantShares witnessed the approval of the following Centre Point #2 travel grants: Riley Neo AdminRobin Green (Cassette)Alvaro Neo collaborator, and Abdulkareem Babatunde. Pixudi ‘s travel grant has received endorsement and is in the voting phase. Daniel Taiwo‘s proposal is on-chain and awaiting endorsement. Lastly, the Vaulten grant proposal was put on-chain and received seven votes in favor of releasing funding.

AxLabs announced the inaugural episode of a new stream series, Talk is Cheap, which will take place on X. The broadcast aims to offer insights into what the development team considers before shipping and deploying code. Topics of discussion will include behind-the-scenes of AxLabs projects, blockchain hot takes, the trials and tribulations of software development, and more.

nDapp released a weekly N3 GAS check-in, noting that network users claimed approximately 60,781 GAS in the past week, and the on-chain activity burned about 725 GAS.

Frank Coin hosted a GasBot trivia contest on the FrankCoin channel of the NeoF1 Discord server and distributed 3 GAS in rewards to participants. Additionally, Frank Coin hosted a Telegram Game Event, in which the first-place participant won 100 FRANK, and 10 random players received 40 FRANK.

Developer Updates

NeoSPCC published v0.41.0 of the NeoFS S3 Gateway. The release introduces a configurable polling interval for container operations that changes dynamically based on block time. The update also improves bucket creation and ACL handling by shifting to single-node connections, and adjusts the gateway health metric to better reflect system status. Several bugs were fixed, including issues with object versioning, expiration, and bucket owner usage in searches. Additionally, Neo SPCC released hot fix NeoFS S3 Gateway v0.41.1, which fixes multipart upload failures for containers with disabled homomorphic hashing.

COZ released Mamba v3.0.0, which supports Python v3.13, improves account/wallet password handling, streamlines API interfaces, and fixes bugs.
