TOTHEMOON is partnering with Program-Ace, a research and development software development company based in Europe. As part of the partnership, the gaming division, Game-Ace, will help develop TTM’s “The Colonization” game.
Game-Ace specializes in cross-platform game development for popular genres, including MMORPGs, and virtual reality. The team estimates that more than 500,000 users have played the games they’ve developed.
TTM has added several new capabilities to its game development team as part of the collaboration. They include project management, tech lead and full-stack web development, technical art and Unity development, business analysis, game/level and UI/UX design, and 3D art and animation creation. TTM intends to expedite the game’s delivery timeframe by adding these positions to the development team.
Initially, TTM planned on releasing a 2D version of its multiplayer game but now intends to deliver a total 3D experience built on the Unity engine. Once live, various mini-games and The Village will be accessible via the 3D open world on a mobile phone or desktop computer.
Looking forward, TTM intends to release a litepaper ahead of the First Quarter Moon Phase and sneak peeks as the game continues to develop.
