With its rapid development, blockchain industry is in increasingly higher demand of specialized talents. The “Blockchain Technical Elite Workshop” hosted by Shanghai Computer Industry Association (SCTA) and organized by NEO is an event launched with the purpose of empowering more developers to acquire skills in blockchain technology and encourage entrepreneurship as a potential driving force of the industry.

Core developers of Onchain, NEO and Lawchain will join the 3-day course as instructors. A certificate will be co-granted by SCTA and NEO to students who complete the course.

Liu Yongxin is deeply involved in blockchain applications with bountiful hands-on experience, offering solutions and consultation to quite a few large institutions.

Day 2

Blockchain Technology Workshop
December 2nd – 1:30pm – 5:00pm

1st session: Public Chain Technical Architecture Design, Blockchain Wallet and Node Programming – 1:30pm – 2:30pm

Instructor: Li Jianying, NEO core developer, partner of Shanghai Ganda Network Technologies Co., Ltd.
Li Jianying has long been engaged in software development and project management, taking the lead in game software development, software development in large human-computer interaction projects and R&D on integration of softwares and hardwares. As a blockchain technical expert, he is responsible for NEO architecture design and core development.

2nd session: Consensus Algorithm – 2:45pm – 3:45pm

Instructor: Weng Junjie, Onchain core developer
Weng Junjie has over 10 years’ experience in development and solution provision in IBM and is among the earliest fabric developers. He’s responsible for Onchain architecture design and core development with rich experience in applying note, supply chain, credit points, credit investigation, data exchange and shared finance to blockchain systems.

3rd session: Smart Contract Development and Coding – 4:00pm – 5:00pm

Instructor: Peter Lin, NEO blockchain community member and developer
As one of the earliest NEO developers, Peter Lin has been engaged in development on Internet technology for 6 years. He was first exposed to bitcoin in 2013. Then he undertook technical R&D in huobi.com. Now as a developer at NEO and Onchain, his main job is R&D on public chain and consortium chains, having gained relevant development experience in such fields as note, credit investigation and Internet finance. As a technology evangelist, he keeps promoting blockchain technology to the masses, and is dedicated to R&D and promotion in growing numbers.

Instructor: Dr. Chen Wenjun, professor, CEO of Shanghai Lawchain Network Technologies Co., Ltd.
Dr. Chen Wenjun was once an executive dean of Shanghai Institute of Technology and Finance and a financial lawyer at Dentons Law Firm. Specializing in legal research and practice, he worked a legal consultant in many large financial institutions and a think-tank for local governments. He’s authored over 20 essays, books and reports in recent years.

Cheng Jianyu is a senior engineer who previously worked for BTC China

Malcolm has long served key positions such as Java software engineer, distributed software development manager and R&D manager with extensive experience in project development, management and implementation.
