NEO Black Sea Community will be co-hosting a hackathon in Tbilisi, Georgia on September 28th through 30th. Other hosts will include Effect.AI, Spotcoin, and nOS, and GeoLab, with the Georgian American University providing facilities. In addition to the hackathon, there will be an invite-only blockchain assembly. NEO News Today previously covered the announcement of the Black Sea Hackathon and assembly.
Black Sea Hackathon
The three-day hackathon will be oriented towards providing solutions for issues that affect Georgian people, and improving government services through smart contract use. NEO Global Development will provide mentors for participating teams, and the winning project will receive US$5,000 in GAS.
The NEO Black Sea Hackathon will begin at 19:00 on September 28th, continue from 9:00 to 23:00 on the 29th, with deliverables submitted at 14:00 on the 30th. Final presentations will be made at 16:00 on September 30th.
Blockchain Assembly
An array of blockchain businesses, experts, academics, and policy-makers will gather for the first-ever NEO Black Sea Assembly. Topics of discussion will include public token sales (a.k.a. initial coin offerings [ICOs]), the use of digital assets to create economic opportunity, and future regulations. The event’s aim is to provide attendees with new tools and the right network to create real solutions for real problems.
The NEO Black Sea assembly is an all-day event that will begin at 09:00 and conclude at 21:00, followed by an after party.
