NEO Global Development (NGD) is holding a community meetup in Singapore on September 19th. The event coincides with Consensus Week and will focus on ecosystem progress.

Speaking at the meetup will be Da Hongfei, founder of NEO, Johnson Zhao, NGD general manager and Piyush Chaplot, partner at NGC. A panel will also be held featuring the aforementioned speakers alongside NEO community developer, Jonathan Lim, moderated by Elias Tan, director at Moonlight.

The event is free and will be held at the RELC International Hotel. Doors open at 6:30pm and food and drink will be provided.

NGD have stated that “This is a great opportunity to get in close contact with NEO and know more about NEO ecosystem.”

The following day, September 20th, Da Hongfei will be speaking at Consensus: Singapore 2018 on a panel titled “Ethereum meets NEO.” Joining Hongfei will be Virgil Griffith, who leads special projects at the Ethereum Foundation. The description of the panel is stated as “Ethereum meets NEO, one of the most popular smart contract platforms in China. Apt comparison or misleading advertising? Representatives from two crypto communities debate whether they’re going after the same market after all.”
