NEO Global Development (NGD) has announced the date of the second NEO DevCon. NEO DevCon 2019 will be held on February 16th and 17th, 2019 in Seattle, Washington.
The theme for NEO DevCon 2019 is “ContiNEO – We keep on going” conveying the determination of the NEO community to continue its effort to realise the new Smart Economy.
NEO DevCon seeks to bring together developers from all over the world to connect, learn and access resources to help build the next generation of blockchain applications. The first NEO DevCon, held in San Francisco in January 2018, attracted over 500 developers and featured over 40 speakers and 30 projects.
Sharlyne Lee, senior marketing manager at NGD told NEO News Today, “NEO DevCon 2019 will introduce more technical topics and discuss the advances of ecological frontier technology. We will showcase the maturity of the platform.”
Seattle was chosen as the location for the 2019 event due to its growing reputation as a “tech hub.” It is home to major technology companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Steam, and Nintendo, whilst Google, Facebook, Salesforce, Oracle and SAP also have a large developer presence in the area.
NGD is inviting developers and ecosystem projects to participate in the event, with the full agenda and list of speakers still to be finalised. A full day development workshop is also planned to take place.
