On March 9, 2018, Binance announced the listing of Ontology (ONT). In addition, Binance will be holding a trading competition, with ONT tokens distributed to top ranked participants as rewards.
A total of 6,250,000 ONT tokens are available in prizes, which ends on March 17, 2018 at 12:00 AM (UTC).
The competition will be based on the total amount of ONT participants hold in their Binance accounts, and will separate participants into two tranches.
The first tranche will distribute 1,250,000 ONT to the Top 50 accounts that hold ONT. The second tranche will distribute 5,000,000 ONT to the 51st – 5,050th top ranked accounts.
The breakdown for the ONT distributed to the Top 50 accounts will be:
- 1st place: 200,000 ONT
- 2nd place: 150,000 ONT
- 3rd place: 100,000 ONT
- 4th – 10th place: 300,000 ONT split evenly among winners
- 11th – 20th place: 200,000 ONT split evenly among winners
- 21st – 50th place: 300,000 ONT split evenly among winners
The second pool of winners, ranked 51st – 5,050th, will split 5,000,000 ONT evenly. This works out to each winner receiving 1,000 ONT each.
