GhostMarket has integrated support for Flamingo Finance, allowing users to purchase NFTs using NEP-17 tokens other than the currency requested on a listing. The new implementation is designed to reduce user friction when buying, bidding, and placing offers on NFTs that reside on the Neo N3 blockchain. GhostMarket founder and CEO Vincent Geneste said:
GhostMarket has a long association with Flamingo Finance and this initiative further strengthens our partnership enabling us to lower the barrier to entry for users wanting to buy an NFT by effortlessly converting another crypto to purchase it.
Before Flamingo’s integration, users were required to purchase an NFT using the NEP-17 token listed by the seller. Now, users can make offers using any supported token. A swap will then happen through Flamingo without users needing to leave the GhostMarket platform. Once the swap concludes, GhostMarket’s smart contract will automatically purchase or bid on the chosen NFT in the sellers desired currency.
Looking forward, the GhostMarket team intends to implement similar support for the other blockchain networks featured on its marketplace.
