United States-based Guardian Circle, a distributed emergency responder network, has announced its first exchange listing. Its Guardium (GUARD) token will begin trading on the Switcheo decentralized exchange on August 24th, 2018 at 12:00pm SGT (UTC+8). Trading pairs of GUARD/NEO, GUARD/GAS, and GUARD/SWTH (Switcheo Token) will be offered.
Guardian Circle aims to offer emergency responder services without the aid of governments worldwide. It recently updated its tokenomics model outlining the roles of its GUARD token and its Guardian Circle mobile phone application.
Guardian Circle recently completed a token swap during which its new GUARD token was airdropped at a 1:1 ratio to wallets holding GDM. The purpose of the swap was to improve the the token’s smart contract security after a storage injection vulnerability was discovered in the original code.
Singapore’s Switcheo is the first decentralized exchange to operate on the NEO blockchain’s MainNet.
