O3 Labs has announced the beta relaunch of its desktop wallet application for Windows, Mac, and Linux, and mobile wallet apps for iOS and Android. Along with the announcement, O3 Labs released a step-by-step guide to downloading its wallets across operating systems and a guide for connecting the O3 Wallet to the Nano S Ledger, Switcheo, and Staketology.
Updates in the beta releases are predominantly cosmetic, with changes to the O3 logo and UI to make the overall interface simpler to operate. In future updates, the O3 Labs team intends to incorporate new functions and services; though, at the time of press, they have not been announced.
Before the beta relaunch, users had reported issues with downloading various versions of O3. To mitigate the situation, the O3 Labs suggests users visit its official website to download the wallet’s desktop and mobile versions.
O3 Labs notes that users should remember to safely back up and store their password, private keys, and wallet files.
To provide feedback or report any issues, O3 Labs has established a dedicated beta testing Telegram channel.
The beta release is the first since the new O3 Labs team took over the project in May 2020. Recently, O3 Labs participated in an AMA, where they answered community questions regarding plans for the O3 Wallet and product goals.
