Bridge Protocol has announced the TOLL to BRDG token swap is taking place at 4:00pm (UTC) on Friday, March 15th, 2019. The Bridge Protocol team strongly urges users to cease trading before the swap is initiated.
Bridge Protocol engineers will take a snapshot of the block height at 4:00pm (UTC) on the 15th, and conduct an airdrop of BRDG tokens at a 1:1 ratio with TOLL. Bridge community members need not take any action for the airdrop.
In preparation for the token swap, Bridge has coordinated with HitBTC Exchange, Switcheo DEX, and Aphelion DEX. The source codes of the new smart contract was provided to the exchanges in advance to aid the token swap.

The token swap is a step towards the “Bridge Protocol LIVE for Public Use” milestone on the roadmap for Q1 of 2019.
The new BRDG token is compliant with the NEP-8 standard, which offers “the necessity of increased security and the dynamic invoke function of the token.”
Following the token swap, Bridge states they “will be able to proceed forward with the Bridge Open Launch; a milestone that [they] have been eagerly awaiting.”
