COZ has partnered with Brazil‑based pop culture collectible manufacturer Iron Studios on a line of officially licensed statues using self-custodial blockchain technology. The collaboration debuts at CCXP25, a major pop culture convention held from Dec. 4 through 7 at São Paulo Expo.

The limited-edition series includes statues from high-profile franchises: DC, Predator, Marvel, and Star Wars. Each piece is officially licensed through Iron Studios and available exclusively at the event.

Digital ownership through NFIs

The partnership utilizes non-fungible item (NFI) certificates for proof of ownership and pre-sale redemption. The NFIs are minted on the Neo N3 blockchain using ITEM Systems’ Signet configuration, a more economical, high-fidelity digital authenticity product than traditional NFI configurations, that does not require embedded components.

Each NFI functions as a digital claim ticket, enabling buyers to secure and later receive their physical statue without carrying it during the event. The certificates also double as gallery-style displays for showcasing ownership.

COZ is facilitating the partnership, while the underlying NFI infrastructure is powered by ITEM Systems, a project focused on blockchain-backed authenticity and provenance.

Editions and availability

Four statues are being offered at CCXP25 with the following availability:

  • Batman Trinity, Predator 2, Iron Man: 300 units each
  • Darth Vader & Obi-Wan Kenobi: 200 units total

Collectors can purchase NFIs on-site and have the corresponding statue shipped directly, combining physical collectibles with blockchain-based ownership in a streamlined process.
