GrantShares has expanded its platform to support the Neo X network, enabling projects built with EVM tooling to seek funding in the Neo ecosystem. Additionally, GrantShares is calling for new DAO members following the addition of a new Request for Proposals feature.

Neo X Support

Users can now log into GrantShares with an EVM-compatible wallet connected to the Neo X network. This allows proposals to be created with GAS funding received directly on Neo X, sent via the Neo Native Bridge.

Neo X support was announced at Consensus Hong Kong and introduced with a video walkthrough presented by Neo News Today’s Dylan Grabowski and AxLabs co-founder Guil. Sperb Machado.

Request for Proposals

A Request for Proposals section has also been introduced in the GrantShares documentation. This allows GrantShares members to submit requests to meet specific needs in the ecosystem, with community members then able to propose solutions.

Each RFP should outline a challenge or opportunity in the Neo ecosystem, along with submission guidelines, requirements, and timelines. This provides a transparent process for contributors to propose and execute meaningful initiatives.

The first request, submitted by platform maintainer AxLabs, seeks proposals for new DAO members, with five positions available. GrantShares is looking for active Neo contributors as well as candidates from outside Neo who align with its core values and bring experience from other areas of the Web3 industry. Candidates will be expected to participate in GrantShares governance decisions, evaluate proposals, and support ecosystem growth.

Interested applicants can submit proposals via the GrantShares dApp before March 23, 2025. Submissions should include the applicant’s background, relevant experience, and contributions to the ecosystem.
