Narrative has announced it will launch its Publications feature at 1:00 pm (UTC -5) on Tuesday, October 8th. According to the team, the Narrative website will be down for approximately 20 minutes while the release is pushed live.
Following the release, Narrative will update its Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section to include pertinent information related to Publications. Additionally, Narrative intends to release an overview of Publications and its features following the launch.
About Publications
The development of Publications was first announced in June 2019. Publications can be described as branded channels for organizations or publishers that need to maintain strict editorial control over their content.
The Publications feature allows for privately controlled and owner-curated pages, more suited to a business, entity, or author looking to create a unique blog or magazine. Owners will have the ability to set admin, editor, and writer permissions for other Narrative users who wish to contribute to the Publication.
Through Publications, Narrative aims to offer custom domain support, which will allow owners to use their own domain as the URL for their Publication. Other basic page customization options will include the ability to set a logo and page header.
Ownership of a Publication has an annual fee associated with it, with two pricing plans on offer: basic and business. A basic Publication channel allows for five content creators and two editors, running at US $125 annually. A business Publication channel allows for up to 30 content creators, ten editors, and offers the ability to use a custom domain. This package will cost US $299 annually.
