Neo Global Development (NGD) released its monthly report for May 2020. May highlights included a preview of the Neo3 governance and economic model, demos of NGD Seattle’s Time Travel Debugger and Visual Token Designer, interoperability protocols integrated into Neo2 TestNet, events attended, partnership announcements, and more.

Neo released a warning that a malicious Telegram-based group was soliciting users to donate NEO as part of a “giveaway” campaign. Caution should always be exerted when consuming information not shared via an official channel, such as neo.org or the Neo Twitter account, directly from developer groups, or from a trusted outlet such as Neo News Today.

Neo and MADANA announced a partnership to explore the benefits of confidential computing methods in Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) for blockchain networks. Initially, the two entities aim to test and evaluate MADANA’s secure processing applications with Neo’s decentralized, distributed object storage system, NeoFS.

Neo News Today (NNT) released the second article in a feature focusing on exception handling, Lifecycle of a Smart Contract and Try-catch Implementation. The article followed the lifecycle of a Neo smart contract to better understand how the new mechanism for exception handling is applied.

June 8th, QLC Chain updated its Android QWallet to version 2.6.7, which integrated support for DeFi project analytics and a DeFi rating feature.

June 9th, Switcheo revealed a rebrand, with a new company logo and color scheme rolled out across its website, social media channels, and other media properties. To celebrate the rebrand, Switcheo is giving away branded merchandise in a drawing held through its official Twitter page. Winners will be selected from the promotion’s participants after June 16th, 2020.

June 9th, Nash Casino, the first community dApp built on top of Nash was launched. Nash Casino is a slots-based game that allows users to play for credits that can be converted to NEX tokens.

June 10th, QLC Chain updated its QWallet to version 1.4.6 on iOS, which includes a new user identity verification method during the user registration process. An Android update is expected to follow in the coming weeks.

June 10th, Switcheo released an updated roadmap for the launch of its new delegated Proof of Stake (dPoS) chain, Switcheo TradeHub, which is tentatively expected to begin rolling out in July 2020. Further, the article highlighted a five-year plan to create new SWTH tokens and actors within its proposed staking process.

June 10th, O3 Labs announced it updated its Android .APK to version 2.9.3.

June 10th, Nash co-founder, Fabio Canesin, authored an article on Forbes about the non-custodial exchange’s Bitcoin trading protocol. The article highlighted the use of hashed time-locked contracts (HTLCs) and other scripting primitives to offer a unique “Bitcoin trading protocol that allows for much greater security with no significant performance cost.”

June 11th, Guardian Circle announced it is expanding its service to address the growing response to nationwide safety concerns for hospital and service industry workers. In a recent interview on the Pomp Podcast, Guardian Circle CEO, Mark Jeffrey, identified the estimated US $1 billion market to be targeted by the decentralized community emergency response app.

June 12th, Bridge announced the launch of Bridge Identity 3.0 beta, which claims to offer easier app integration, additional support for the Ethereum blockchain, and improved user experience. Bridge users can now perform a cross-chain swap between the NEP-5 and ERC-20 based BRDG token using the Bridge Passport browser extension.

June 12th, Alchemint released its monthly report for May 2020, which highlighted an increase in SDUSD issuance and overall mortgage rate, and its “cooperation with Fubon Securities in Hong Kong to provide investment channels for overseas customers.”
