NeoPod, Neo Global Development’s community ambassador program, is opening a dedicated Discord server on April 1 as the first visible step in a broader refresh toward what the team is calling “NeoPod 2.0.” The move signals an evolution in how the program operates, with dedicated community content creators now producing Neo ecosystem material while other members earn GAS by promoting and engaging with that content.
The program, which relaunched with a structured rewards system in Aug. 2024 following the Neo X MainNet release, is now pivoting its model. The team found that the previous approach incentivized a high volume of low-quality content creation without generating meaningful reach or amplification. Under the new model, participants who have grown through the program are stepping into dedicated content creator roles, producing higher-quality Neo ecosystem material. The broader community then earns GAS and XP by sharing and driving engagement for that content, with bonus rewards available for those who can demonstrate strong reach.
The program currently has content creators covering English, Indonesian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic-speaking audiences. The team is looking to expand with creators who can reach Asian and African communities, and interested participants can contact Riley at rileye@neopod.org.
The new Discord server is intended to serve as a central point for community members to connect, share ideas, and participate in NeoPod’s next phase. A website overhaul is also in the works as part of the NeoPod 2.0 transition.
